Stuck for ideas on what to wear to Splendour this year? No need to stress - I've got you covered! This week I teamed up with Brisbane fashion stylist Tasha McCoy to bring you the ultimate festival outfit inspiration you'll be needing this festival season.
Tasha is a qualified stylist who specialises in editorial styling so you can rest assured, she knows her stuff! Shes let us in the loop that high on the fashion radar this season is 90's style - all about edgy street style and adding your own unique statement.
Tasha's first Splendour Style look for us has major french girl vibes. Oui Oui! She has styled my lace off the shoulder crop (one of the new Outerwear pieces launching Friday!) with denim overalls and cute accessories to boot. A simple colour scheme keeps the outfit on point and lets the design details speak for themselves. This is a fun way to mix and match pieces you might already have in your wardrobe.
Festivals are the perfect opportunity to dress a little crazy, so bold prints just might be your thing for Splendour this year. Tasha swears by these candy stripe pants with my Halcyon crop - don't forget your trusty denim jacket because Byron Bay gets pretty damn cold when the sun sets! Bonus points for rocking tinted glasses to make your outfit complete.
As much as crazy festi outfits are all over Instagram, sometimes less is more when it comes to styling. Tasha recommends luxe bohemian vibes for the sophisticated gal, teaming my Malibu tassel robe with my 90's lace crop and a thick waist belt to cinch in that waist. Added bonus - shimmying your heart out with those tassels!
For the edgy gals out there, Tasha's final look is so 90's it hurts. Ripped denim, fishnet socks and a touch of lace to soften the look. Featuring the Stella bralette, now discontinued. On a side note - who would like to see this style come back?
I hope you loved this collaboration we put together! I am currently taking orders for Splendour up until mid July, so contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for custom orders! A very special thank you to all involved in the project:
