The incredible as ever Daphne Sky Studios was kind enough to make this incredible vlog capturing the preparations for the event, and I am so grateful to her for capturing these memories!
The day of the show started with coffee (of course), a little pampering to look the part, then heading to the venue for briefings with the hair and makeup team of what the final runway looks would be. I chat to some of the other designers involved in the show and share in all of the excitement for the day!
I hope you adore seeing the lead up to the event and insider access to backstage at our show!

Luckily we are here to share some secrets to stop this from happening to you on your special day!

I was lucky enough to shoot with Eden and Sam, two incredible ladies with incredible stories to tell. They are both passionate about advocating about body acceptance and inspired me so much during our shoot so I wanted to share a little of their story with you...
EDEN - Hello! My name is Eden (or @edenhoneyy) and I began modelling in 2019 after a really bad relationship ended. I was controlled in a lot of ways and one of them was how I chose to dress and what I posted, so part of my reclamation journey was all about gaining back what I had lost!
SAM - My name is Samantha. ( @legoblocks_pvo ). I first started my modelling journey in 2021. Sharing my thoughts and expressing my creativity has always been something I’ve wanted to do but always lacked the confidence to do so.
It was around my 27th birthday. I realised the company you keep is so important to your all round mental health and well-being. I made it my mission from then on to focus on creating a more positive life around myself moving away from negativity.
EDEN - My journey with self acceptance has been tumultuous yet incredibly rewarding. As a millennial who was also overweight most of my life, fatphobia really impacted my self perception. I really grew to love my body after motherhood. I found a new appreciation for the first home for my son, and also worked hard to dismantle internalised beauty standards that prevented me from enjoying my own body. It was another reason for taking up modelling!
SAM - Once I moved away from the negativity that was in my life my self acceptance journey really started to flow out of my pores. Some days it was a raging river and other days more of a slow trickling stream but every day it was flowing. I was always the “bigger” friend growing up and even tho it didn’t seem like a big deal to myself I noticed it was always a big deal to the people around me which over time tends to have an effect on you.
When I made my Instagram, I wanted it to be a safe place for everyone. I wanted to share the real and the raw, the social media views and the reality of them. I wanted to share the things the social media classified as “flaws” and own them and show the world they are not flaws. Hence the legoblocks_"pvo” - it stands for 'Positive Vibes Only'.
EDEN - Sam and I know each other because she is my son's bonus mum. Not only is she a wonderful mother to all the children including my son, but she is also one of my best friends. I am so grateful every day she is marrying my son's father as she really Was a missing piece in our family.
SAM - Lucky for me I had Eden in my corner helping me, guiding me and supporting me in any direction I wanted to take. This kind of friendship and support was something I had never experienced before.
For a little back story. I met Eden when I started dating my now Fiancé back in 2019. My Fiancé came with two beautiful sons, Eden just so happen to be one of their mothers. Eden and I have become best friends and I am forever grateful for all her love, acceptance and support thru not only coparenting but in all aspects of life.
We not only share a son but also so many amazing experiences that come with modelling and expressing ourself through this creative outlet. I am thankful everyday for the life I now have and the people in it.
EDEN - My top tips for learning to love and accept yourself are to find people who look like you that you can aspire to. Let go of strict beauty standards you have for yourself because you are not built to achieve them and they are always going to do damage.
Remind yourself that your body doesn’t exist just to be perceived as beautiful by others, it works hard for you every day to keep you alive and puts in more effort for you than any other person you know, so it deserves to feel loved because it loves you so much.
Your body is an amazing machine, not a talking point for others.
SAM - A tip I want to give anyone on their own self acceptance journey is to surround yourself with people who also want the same things as you. Once you're surrounded by like minded people who are supportive and positive you lift each other up.

]]>Hearing from happy customers is truly the absolute best part of my day! You can imagine my squeal of delight when Alexandra’s pregnancy photoshoot dropped into my inbox.
Glowing mum to be Alexandra wore the beautiful Ivy lace crop top for her maternity photoshoot and looked like an absolute goddess! She described the piece as the “perfect lace top for her maternity photos” and I have to say it was truly an honour to create it for her.
It seemed like the perfect opportunity to catch up with my lovely Lazy Girl and chat about her pregnancy journey! Keep reading for all the details and some maternity shoot outfit inspiration too…
This is my second pregnancy and it is been much more exhausting carrying a baby while also chasing a toddler (just shy of two around), though I know I’ll miss these days in the future!
The most memorable milestones this time have been different from with my first. When I was pregnant with my son I’d take photos every week and just spend all day thinking about having a child. This time it’s been so centred around my son! It was so fun finding out that he would have a sister and then getting to the point where he could visibly see the changes in my body was amazing! He has started trying to feed her his milk through my belly button and giving lots of belly kisses which I love.
I chose to do a maternity shoot for a couple of reasons. One big one was that we did one when I was pregnant with my son and got such gorgeous shots. We also loved our photographer, Melina Coogan (Wild and Bright Photography). She is based out of Asheville, NC which is where we call home and knows how to incorporate the mountains and nature so perfectly into the shots. I just felt like if we didn’t get some this time we would regret it.
The Ivy crop was the perfect choice for maternity photos! I knew I wanted to do some sort of floral skirt and crop top combo. I looked everywhere trying to find a top that would work. When I stumbled upon Lazy Girl Lingerie on Etsy it felt like fate! Cassandra was so amazing to work with. I was a little nervous because the top would have to be shipped from Australia to North Carolina, USA but it was truly more seem less than I could have hoped for! The top was extremely flattering and hit just above my pregnant belly! It added such a soft, feminine touch to the photos.
A huge thank you to Alexandra for sharing her special pregnancy photoshoot and to Wild and Bright Photography for these incredible images.

That's where I come in - I'm here to help with a selection of boudoir lingerie looks for indulging your glamorous side. Keep reading for a dose of lingerie outfit inspiration...

A classic off the shoulder crop top is an all-time favourite for so many of my Lazy Girl brides. There’s just something about the way this style that feels so feminine. Sweetheart tops are such a great style for pretty much all body types! A bonus for full bust ladies is that you can wear a strapless bra with this shape, or have bra cups sewn in.

A long sleeve bridal look radiates pure elegance. Some of the most popular long sleeve bridal tops are tulle tops that can be layered over a slip dress or solid silk bridal outfit. Another option is the gorgeous Veda top, a long sleeve lace top adored for her off the shoulder cut with a striking low back.

So you’ve found your dream bridal crop, now what to pair it with? It truly depends on your overall vibe for the wedding day - for a princess look you might opt for a cascading full tulle skirt, a simple and elegant bride might opt for a tea length silk skirt or a modern bride might go for a more fitted/mermaid shaped skirt.

Now comes the fun part - let’s accessorize! A rule of thumb is to let your outfit shine and be the statement, and then use accessories to enhance the look but not overpower. A classic hollywood curl, soft yet glam makeup and a statement bridal heel can work wonders for your special day.
]]>A little about our love story… Dillon and I met seven years ago when we both had moved to the Gold Coast from our own hometowns. Our best friends started dating and kept trying to introduce us to each other and eventually they were successful - the rest is history!
It blows my mind to think about the journey we have been on together. Together we have navigated the ups and downs of our 20’s and always come out stronger the other side. Being with Dillon feels like home, and I could not be happier to now be enjoying married life.
Our wedding day was intimate and relaxed. I walked down the aisle to ‘XO’ by John Mayer and in the ceremony Dillon jumped the gun saying his I do’s (that’s why I adore him). Our day was made special with surprise videos from my husband’s family who could not be with us on the day due to Covid restrictions, and they partied the whole night with us via livestream. My mum and I had a not-so-traditional mother daughter dance to the ‘Git-Up’ with the best bridal party and friends a girl could ask for. My favourite memory is feeling so much love in the room, and being able to celebrate this once in a lifetime love with people so special to us.
I hope you adore these special snaps of our wedding day and again thank you for being part of the journey.
A HUGE thank you to our amazing vendors who made this day so magical. Getting married is no small feat and having the right vendors makes your day run that little bit more smoothly.

]]>If your thoughts create your reality, then how does you inner self talk measure up?
The human mind is a powerful thing, and with a little intentionality, you free yourself from negative self talk that could be causing you damage.
Affirmations work by focusing on a new thought and by prioritising this in your life, you will find yourself showing up in your life to make it come true. It works both ways - if you think negative thoughts about your body, you will create negative feelings and if you think positive thoughts, you will create a positive mindset for yourself.
If unapologetic self love sounds like exactly what you need (or heck even just starting with self ACCEPTANCE is a great place to start), read on for some affirmations and mantras to get you started.
Body Positivity Affirmations:
If these sound like the kind of daily reminders you could use, I challenge you to create a daily affirmations practice to help you embody these new positive mantras. Set aside time each morning and say these affirmations out loud. In front of the mirror is a great place to start, or if you feel uncomfortable at first, in your head is okay too. Take some deep breaths before you begin and relish in this new daily practice that will literally transform how you think and feel about yourself.

Less stress, less people, less to organise and a whole lot of adventure… You can see why more and more couples are opting to elope.
You get to have a mini getaway for you and your lover, and to be honest in this day and age of COVID, an elopement or micro wedding is sometimes our only option.
If you’re thinking of eloping, take into consideration where you would like to elope. A stunning view is a must! From there you can pick a season or time of year you would like to be there, and then choose your outfit accordingly.
Gorgeous Lazy Girl Annie recently wore her Lola bridal crop for her New Zealand elopement and it’s honestly making me want to go on an adventure, pronto! I adored how she made this look her own, choosing a high waisted tulle skirt in a dove grey that complemented the mountain scape beautifully - who says brides have to be traditional and wear white? Her fur coat is a beautiful touch and keeps your shoulders warm while still looking gosh darn stylish.
Have you always dreamed of eloping? What would your dream elopement outfit be?

Carrie Bradshaw is a mood always. That being said, if your current wardrobe storage just isn't doing it for you, scroll on to be inspired for ideas of how to create the lingerie wardrobe of your dreams.
You’ve got the lingerie collection & I’ve got the ideas to organize it for you!
Let’s go girls.
The very first step in your wardrobe is treating yourself to some nice hangers. Ditch the miss matched collection you have adopted over the years - matching hangers work wonders to visually unify your wardrobe. Plus the right ones will also help to support your garments and make sure they don’t snag on anything while they are in storage.
Weigh up your options and think about whether to go with padded, wire, wooden. Let’s steer away from plastic wherever possible!
For some inspiration for where to buy hangers, check out the following: Rose Gold Hangers, Black Velvet Hangers, Personalised Padded Hangers.
Storage boxes & organisers will be your new best friends! Drawer inserts are really great for your day to day underwear and bras, or items that you have a large volume of (think panties and everyday bralettes). Storage bags like this one by XYZ are great to keep a suspender set together so when you feel like wearing the set, you know exactly whereall the parts are. A storage box is a great idea for larger items (think robes, chemises, etc) that take up a bit of room, or maybe a lingerie outfit that is a bit extra and you’d like to keep private.
For some inspiration for where to buy storage organisation, check out the following: Storage Inserts, Lingerie Bags, Storage Boxes.
This can be the most creative part! Maybe you will go with a full bedroom dedicated to your wardrobe (hey - a gal can dream!) or maybe a free-standing garment rack is more realistic for your closet space. Whatever your choice - make it your own! Even a tiny wardrobe space can be styled and organised to be uniquely you. Don’t be afraid to get creative either - hunt around on Facebook Marketplace for vintage dressers that can be revamped into a stylish storage solution that you absolutely adore!
Pro tip: Pick one or two of your absolute FAVOURITE items and find a way to hang them facing outward so you can see them at a first glance. You might not get to wear them everyday, but think of them like a little piece of lingerie art that you get to smile at every time you catch a glimpse of them.
Image Credits (left to right): Dresser, Closet Top, Closet Bottom, Garment Rack.
Would I even be a lingerie designer if I didn’t encourage you to add a touch of boudoir? Inspire your very own parlour with something glamorous that makes you feel every bit a princess each time you step into your wardrobe space. Maybe it’s a floor length mirror, a vintage armchair or ottoman, or even simply a portrait of your favourite style icon or piece of art that inspires you each time you look at it. Bonus points for styling with your favourite quote that keeps you inspired.

I have always felt that what we wear does wonders for how we feel about ourselves. So naturally, the space where we store our clothing and dress ourselves reflects the same. Think about one small change you could make to your wardrobe space to make it feel like an inspiring place to get dressed. Let’s make a point to implement this change. Do it for YOU!
Love and lingerie,
Cass xx
]]>Now that I have your attention...
Today’s conversation is a bit of a spicy one, as I chat to Vanessa, founder of Authentic Awareness. Vanessa is a sex therapist and opens women up to authentic sensuality, confidence and good health by helping women to understand their bodies and recognise their pleasure.
In our conversation we talk about women's sensuality and why it is important, challenges women face when expressing their sensuality and tips for letting your sensual self shine.
Without further ado, let’s chat with Vanessa!
My name is Vanessa, and I am a Sex Therapist and founder of Authentic Awareness. I have a passion for helping and guiding women through challenging circumstances. I am enthusiastic about empowering women to take control of their bodies, their sensual selves and understand social misconceptions to confidently display their true self every day.
On a personal note, I’ve been married for 5 years (together for 13 years!), and we have two boys under 3 years old. Our house is noisy, busy and my biggest struggle working from home is getting out of the kitchen because everyone just wants to eat all day!
Authentic Awareness offers sex therapy and education to women through courses and sexual wellness products. Authentic Awareness was established from a drive to make women and men aware of sexual misconceptions and provide assistance and education based on factual research to build positive internal connections and external relationships.
I’ve always had an interest to learn more about and talk about sex openly. Having studied a Masters in HIV, STIs and Sexual Health, I realised I have the knowledge to share this information with other women. Sexual health is an important component of our overall health and it lives in a cone of silence, as a male-centred arena. I’m passionate about focusing on a holistic approach to female sexual health. I found a lot of inconsistent data and cultural and social misinformation. Even as a female with all this knowledge, I still had several “ahh ha” moments. I spoke to friends who also had ‘ahh ha’ moments and I knew that something was wrong with what we are teaching (and not teaching) during sex education! Being pleasure-focused can generate mind-blowing changes for both partners in the relationship, build overall confidence and self-esteem, and empower positive role modelling in calm and happy homes.
Celebrating sensuality is important because it’s part of our make-up, and there is untapped power in accepting yourself in your entirety. Understanding and expressing your sensuality boosts your confidence in all aspects of life. You are confident to ask for what you want and need, and when you feel good in yourself your body automatically distributes positive hormones around your body, stimulating your immune system and boosting your energy levels. It’s important to remember too that being sensual doesn’t mean being “media” sexy. Exploring and expressing sensuality is personal and varies for everyone.
It can be a difficult first step for women to decide to celebrate their sensuality because society tends to make this a challenge. How?
Once you allow yourself the freedom to explore and express your sensuality as you desire, these challenges actually don’t pose a threat to you anymore as your comfort in your own skin provides the confidence and power to understand the misconceptions of these barriers. You’ll also find a huge world around you of women that have made the same decision and proudly present themselves as they desire.
After having my first son in 2017, I had all these new mum friends and many were struggling to ignite their mojo and feelings of self-love and sensuality 6 months, one year, two years on. I realised that any discussion at the 6-week postpartum check-up revolved around contraception. This lack of conversation on sexual functioning or pleasure leaves many women wondering why they are suddenly experiencing pain, dryness or a complete lack of sexual interest, and many are too overwhelmed or tired at that time to ask the right questions. Let alone feel entitled to think about their own bodies and enjoyment, as opposed to caring solely for a new baby and family. The fact that we even need to tell mums “you are entitled” to put yourself first and not feel guilty about it is testament to the need for change.
This was the moment I decided to help busy, tired mums to awaken their sensuality, empower them to have pleasure-focused discussions and to create deeper connections with themselves and a partner.
Don’t be afraid to let your sensual-self shine! What matters is how you see and feel about yourself, not what others think or tell you to be.
Self-acceptance is important so I suggest starting with daily positive messaging. Get naked in front of a mirror, check yourself out and tell yourself something you like. If you discover barriers to your sensuality it’s important to explore them and work through how to break them down. Ask yourself what changes you can make to resolve it. Start with changes that you feel are the easiest to make. This will lead to greater success as those changes become habits. The Authentic Awareness specifically designed Mojo Matters Sensuality Journal is excellent at tracking barriers and changes to keep you track to your sensual destination.
Finally, you need to know what you like sexually before you can tell someone else what you want and need. This is where the fun truly starts in self-exploration. If you are overwhelmed, start by focusing on each of your senses one at a time until you discover your favourite contexts.
For the mamas out there who are interested in finding their sensuality, join the Mama’s Sensual Safari and be guided step-by-step through your exploration.
I have several ideas for the future of Authentic Awareness to continue to educate, revamp and ignite female sensuality. Currently, I am focused on working with mama’s, however, there are plans to branch out to other niche groups in the community.
In the immediate future, now that Covid restrictions are lifting and people are feeling more comfortable going out, I am excited to run workshops and have the ability to sit down face-to-face with women and discuss all things pleasure-focused. It is a real joy to see women get excited about all the new concepts they can explore!
I hope you enjoyed this chat with Vanessa! I admire her genuine passion for helping women (especially mama’s) ignite their sexuality and hope that her knowledge is helpful to you, or someone you know. Sexuality can certainly be a bit of a taboo topic, and I think it's important to not let societal "norms" and stigmas stop us from having these important conversations.

“My whole experience was incredible! Starting with the virtual boutique, Cass answered all my questions and helped me to feel totally at ease. My pieces arrived beautifully packaged in lace and accompanied by gorgeous art. Everything fit perfectly and makes me feel fantastic, and Cass was such an amazing cheerleader when I shared photos with her! I am totally in love. Today I am sharing with you some very special magic, getting to know the very incredible Krystle from @krystleinlove. Krystle Ada Epum is a poet and storyteller, emerging in the literary world with her storybook poetry films. She explores the art of love, womanhood, and Mother Nature.
I was lucky enough to sit down (via email, since we live on opposite sides of the globe!) with Krystle and get to know more about her work as an emerging poet and storyteller in New York. I hope you adore this special interview, and the incredible poetry film Krystle has created ‘She Held The Answer’ featuring the Tiffany Robe.
Your poetry films are so incredible and unique. What got you started in your career as a poet and storyteller?
Thank you! That really means the world to me because I speak from my heart. I decided to start on this path of poetry and storytelling to inspire women and paint a more beautiful picture of our lives. To really allow women to fall in love with themselves and the world around us.
As a creative, how does writing poetry compare to bringing it to life via film?
Many of the most impactful works of art are visual. So, I really wanted to combine both the written word and film. As I write, I actually start moving! Closing my eyes, dancing, watching my hand rise and fall - movements that come to me during the writing process often end up in the film.
What was your inspiration for your film She Held The Answer?
The inspiration came from me constantly looking outside of myself for the answers to my problems, and noticing many other women around me doing the same. I had to do some deep soul searching to discover that the answer will always come from within.
What connection do lingerie and poetry hold for you?
Lingerie is poetry! Wearing lingerie is one of the best ways for me to activate my goddess energy and allow my creativity to flow. When writing poetry, I’m almost always in a silk robe or silk and lace slip.
During the challenging circumstances of Covid/2020 how have you protected/maintained your creative energy?
It’s been a blessing in disguise, honestly. In New York, life is so fast-paced. Even though I was surrounded by other creatives, I felt drained by the end of the day. Having to stay home and reflect on life has allowed me to refocus my energy, create poetry films, and share work that I love.
