A Lazy Girl's Guide to Getting Organised.

organisation hacks to get your side hustle growing

If you’re the kind of gal who wants to fit it all in and just doesn't know how, this is the blog post for you! Whether you just want to feel like you have your shit together, or are wanting to fit in launching a little side hustle project for yourself, scroll on for some tips to keep organised AF.

If there is anything I have learnt through starting and running my brand, it is that organisation is KEY. How did I learn that? Probably through not being organised to be honest… I am more of a happy go lucky gal which is great, but when it comes to kicking goals I can speak from experience when I say it is worth the effort.

Plan, Baby!

My number one tip would be to set aside some time for planning. A good place to start is your ultimate goal - what is it that you are working towards? It might be just having an organised home, travel the globe, or to launch a side hustle, but either way when you know what you are aiming for it is a hell of a lot easier to get there when you know the destination. I love setting aside time on a Sunday to reflect on the week gone by, what worked, what didn’t work and what I can change in the following week to get me closer to my goals. Repeat this process on a monthly, quarterly and yearly spectrum and you’ll see your goals getting smashed left right and centre.

Practice Makes Perfect.

Practice makes perfect, and this is so so true when it comes to being organised. It can be so easy to beat yourself up when you loose track of your goals but the key is to shake it off and get back on track. It’s all about consistency - if you work hard on something in a small way every day, in a year you will be amazed to see how far you have come. Staying organised might not come naturally to you - I know it sure doesn’t for me (my brand is called Lazy Girl after al!) but once you can get a new routine to become a habit for you, it becomes second nature AND you can even find yourself looking forward to your new habit.

Do All Things With Love

This is where the fun part comes in, and I also think it is the most critical. Celebrate your wins! Did you write a chapter for the e-book you’ve been wanting to start? Remembered to set aside some time for self care each day this week? Treat yourself! Enjoying the process and rewarding yourself is not only a whole lot of fun, but helps to positively reinforce your new behaviour. Win, win!

Are you super organised, or more of a spontaneous soul? Is your style helping you to achieve your goals, or do you need a little bit of help? Stay accountable - share your goals so we can all help, inspire and motivate each other.

Lots of love,

Cass xx
